Oversized glass 1” glass towel bar with rare hexagon chrome plated ends by S Sternau & Co NY is in good vintage condition.  Some loss of finish on these mounts and patina is original.  Add $100 to the purchase price and six weeks to the shipping time to have these replated in chrome or nickel.  I would leave these alone as I think the patina is a character adding bonus!  Overall measurement is 34"w  x 3 1/4" projection, bar area is a very generous 29" and the bar dia 1".  No chips or cracks to the glass.  Both ends are marked S Sternau & Co NY.
