Cute vintage toy camel is covered with warm light brown fur over his rigid mechanical body. He wears a green plastic bridle and collar. This is a wind-up toy but the key is not included. 

Camel measures 6" tall.

Round blue and white paper label attached to camel's stomach; "GERMANY U.S.Z.".

Post war vintage wind-up camel toy is in nice, clean condition. No wind-up key but this toy would display nicely with a collection of Wagner Kunstlerschutz animals since they are so similar. A French eBayer let me know that this toy is a Max Carl Original toy. He sent a page from their 1950 catalog showing this toy camel (included in photos). The head and tail of this toy move without restriction. No odd or smokey odors. No stains or fading. There is a slight bend to the legs that make the camel unsteady to stand. Please examine photos.
