I am a master craftsman & have been restoring fine antiques for over 45 years.

I custom made this gorgeous base using 1 1/2” thick American black walnut wood. By design I left antique saw marks all along the front side & lots of character marks giving this a rustic yet rich look with the fine hand rubbed finish.

I made the base not exactly a rectangle & offset the horse on the base for a better looking result, I don’t want it perfectly square corners etc.

I hand rubbed many coats of varnish showcasing the rich browns & black walnut grains & protecting the wood!

Brown felt added to bottom to protect the walnut wood & your furniture!!!
