How we identified your item: We rely on online data (including identical items on eBay) to determine the original fitment of every listing. Sometimes part numbers will correspond with just one model year but can work with multiple years of a model. Please make sure this part will work with your application. 

The condition of your item: Whenever possible, we evaluate our parts for viability at common failure points. With carburetors, we check whether all float towers are intact – letting you know when they’re not – and we try to point out missing or non-functional elements. Please also lean on the listing photos to help judge condition and fitment. 

Most carburetors will require some amount of cleaning as well as fresh gaskets, O-rings, etc. Many times, after a carburetor has been unused for a period, the choke or enricher system will need to be dismantled and cleaned for smooth movement. Also, float bowl screws and top cap screws are often missing, and we may choose not to highlight this factor. 

Jetting is highly subjective to application, so we don’t typically investigate jet sizes. 

Shipping of your item: We strive to package and ship your parts the same day of purchase. Sometimes, we’ll separate external parts from the main carburetor assembly for safety in transit.
