This is a first edition (1968) of the International Collectors Library printing of the Short Stories of Guy de Maupassant. It is about 75 stories by the French master of the short story. Bound in green/dark turquoise leather with a gold design on the cover and spine. Bound-in silk bookmark. Rough-edged pages.

The paper has darkened a little but there is no evidence that the book has been read. The white mark you see on the cover is from a price tag; it will come off. Otherwise perfect condition.
