All these items are new and have never been used although the tool doesn't have the plastic overly packaging with it.  This set comes with a large and small brad head sets that are interchangeable.  The tool is easy to use and squeeze.  There is a DVD with demonstrations on it and all the instructions are included!  There is an unopened set of 12 Large Brad Daddies which is what you need to make the large brads.  So, you use the punches to punch out pretty paper or a photo or whatever you like.  Use the "Daddy" (What a crazy name!) to form your brad with your unique paper.  Lots of fun!  The 3 punches create small (16mm), medium (22mm), and large (28mm) brads.
