Japanese Whetstone Ikyu Shin Nagura

Grit #1000/#2000/#3000/#6000 from Japan *Free Shipping*

-Uses Japanese domestic WA and domestic bakelite bond (resin).

-Japanese silica stone and feldspar are used to prevent clogging.

-Incorporates natural Mikawa Nagura stone powder, giving a smooth sharpening feel and a refined cutting edge.

-It is a soft whetstone, suitable not only for sharpening carbon steels but also stainless steel cutlery.

-Gives a slightly glossy finish enabling use as a pre-finishing stone.

-Being softer than natural Mikawa nagura, fresh abrasive grains are released without clogging up the stone.

-After coarse process, the particle size range is well linked.

-By blending natural powder, it reproduces the soft sharpening feel of the old natural whetstone.
