The stereo condenser microphones in the XY configuration, uniquely tuned by Yamaha engineers, capture the audio signal of the drum performance and send it to the main unit together with the bass drum's trigger signal. The sound of the entire drum set can be monitored in high quality with natural balance and localization.

Mixing, simple editing, and uploading can all be done within the app, and videos can be shared on SNS right after they are recorded. The app can also be used as a tool to support practice, with features such as tempo change and repeat functions.
