Motorcycle Motorbike Steering Bearing Install Tool 35.5mm 30mm 26.5mm
This tool is designed to allow the user to install the lower steering bearing inner race without damaging the race. The tool helps to ensure the bearing is fitted square and prevents damage to the bearing and the steering stem. The drift tube is used in conjunction with one of the three supplied aluminium drift dies: Drift die internal diameters: Red: 35.50 mm Gold: 30.00 mm Black: 26.50 mm After the old bearing has been removed place the new bearing inner race as far down steering stem shaft as far as possible by hand (see diagram). Select the appropriate drift die and place it onto the bearing. Note: the die should rest on the inner race ring of the bearing and not on the bearing rollers/ balls or cage. Place the drift tube over the steering stem and locate in recess in the die. Knock bearing into place using a suitable soft faced hammer

To request an item return:
