Signed by the Maryland photographer, Ruth Horlick. Her work often focused on street images, graffiti, torn posters, & advertising as well as nature and landscape photography. She also published two books, Contemporary Temporaries I and II depicting her photography that has been exhibited extensively on three continents.

Ruth lived most of her adult life in the Maryland suburbs of the Washington, DC metropolitan area. She was born in Frankfurt, Germany in 1921 and immigrated to the US in 1937 with her family as Hitler's regime began persecuting Jewish Germans. She died in Maryland in 2023 at the age of 101 after a full and energetic life.

She was a founding member of the Art Spin Gallery, West Hyattsville, Maryland. Memer of Women in the Arts, Laurel Art Guild, Latent Image Workshop, Passageways Artists Studios, Washington Project for the Arts Corcoran Gallery, Washington Center for Photography, Hyattsville Community Artists Alliance, Maryland-National Park and Planning Commission Slide Bank, Rock Creek Gallery, and the International Artist's Support Group.

She is listed as a noteworthy photographer by Marquis Who's Who.
