Description: Unbound. Small engraving. 8" x 4 1/2". Illustration by Chapman probably based on engraving by James Thomson, and originally published by James Asperne, proprietor of European Magazine. Foxed, thus very good. Reeves was the King's printer. During his position as the King's printer, he printed *History of the English Law, from the time of the Saxons to the end of the reign of Edward I,* with several following volumes, bringing the work to the reign of Queen Elizabeth.
