Publisher's brown cloth stamped in blind, with a binder's ticket: "Chas. Hopkins' Book Bindery, Norwich, N.Y." on the back pastedown. Lacking spine back, fraying to the cloth at the fore-edges of both covers, hinges are a little shaken but still holding snug, light scattered foxing, good only. An unusual copy with a photograph of Brevet-Major Elias P. Pellet in uniform, and another unidentified man bound-in separately by hand.
