Harp Strings

Author: Pam (P.K.H.) [probable pseudonym of Pamela Keighley Hughes]
Title: Harp Strings
Publication: Houston, Texas: The Pantile Press, (1969)

Description: Softcover. First edition. Octavo. 12 leaves printed rectos only. Stapled printed green wrappers. Light offsetting on front wrap, else near fine. Drawings of a woman with a harp in various poses, some captioned, by the otherwise unidentified "Pam" that have been initialed "P.K.H." and dated "69". *OCLC* locates no copies. The Pantile Press (with addresses variously as Houston or New York) seems entirely dedicated to harp music, and particularly to the works of one person, Patricia John (Keightley), the great-great-great granddaughter of Sam Houston, and a distinguished harp soloist who performed extensively, including at the inauguration of FDR. She was also the mother of Pamela Keighley.
