Our tremendous figural silver oil lamp by Angelo Giannotti (1824-1865), circa 1830s, with tank with three lamps decorated with Bacchus masks and lid depicting a putto with dog with removable upholstered screen, is held by the figure of Mercury after the iconic figure by Giambologna.  Tools and base of the figure with the mark of the maker and the Papal State hallmark, apparently for Bologna, showing crossed keys in shield.  Measures: 33 by 14 by 8 in (86 by 24 by 20 cm).
