This is a rare and stunning MS62 mint state key date half sovereign - the Perth 1904 is well known by collectors as a tough date and in MS it is almost unheard of. The PCGS population report shows just 3 in MS, with one in 61 and 2 in 62 - the other can be seen on a cursory Google search, marked as sold with a very high price! I also note NGC is showing none in MS, attesting to the condition rarity of this piece. 

One for the serious and accomplished half sovereign collectors, or for the set registry.
