Ting-A-Ling, The Waltz of the Bells, 1926

by Addy Britt and Jack Little

This song was first released by Victor Talking Machine Company of Canada, with the song Sleepy Head on the other side.

The recording was by Herb Carlin & Orchestra, followed by Fred Waring & the Pennsylvanians. It was later a hit for Gordon MacRae, and for Bill Mooney and His Cactus Twisters.

Addy Britt (1891-1938) was a singer and lyricist; her best-known songs were I Ain’t That Kind of Baby, and Hello Swanee Hello.

Jack Little (1899-1956) was a prolific songwriter, best known for You Oughta Be in Pictures, Lullaby of Broadway and I’m in the Mood for Love.

This is 3 pages plus cover. The piece is larger than the scanner.

Near-perfect condition; there’s a little bit of wear at the edges. If you want to frame it, its flaws can be masked and/or repaired.

Note: I have lots of vintage sheet music and music books listed here. If you'd like to buy more than one piece, let me know and I can give you a better price.

NOTE: The shipping rate charged here is for regular mail WITHOUT TRACKING. If you want the delivery to be trackable, tell me--I have to charge another $12.00 for Canada, another $15.00 for the US.
