Cries of London "Fine Black Cherries" street scene plate, Regency Bone China England is 10-1/2", generously adorned with highly reflective gold trim and border accents.  It is lightly scalloped and has 6 radial slightly indented lines equally spaced around the light blue rim.  There is a slight imperfection, what might be a faint scratch, on the bottom of the rim. Otherwise, the gold is intact and no chips, cracks, or crazing.  Regency China, LTD operated from 1953 to 2004. It had two marks; this one has the original mark so is closer to being produced toward 1953.  The plate is charming, I bet the gentleman is secondarily interested in the cherries.

The New Brunswick Canada Tartan crest 10" ironstone plate by Wood & Sons, England is 10” with highly reflective gold trim and maple leaves. The plate has no chips or cracks but, due to age perhaps, it has some crazing as you can see. Curiously, the entire rim, front and back, has no crazing.  The crest in the middle has no crazing, maybe the enamel prevented it.  It still looks very nice in a display cabinet.  Regarding the maker, "Wood & Sons originated in 1865 when the business was first opened by Absalom Wood and his son T. F. Wood. Initially the pottery traded as Wood & Son, but from 1907 the name changed to Wood & Sons. In 1910 it became Wood & Sons Ltd."  You can find this information by searching on the company name online, I didn't think I should put the UK website with this quote in my listing.  According to this, my plate was made between 1907 and 1910.  On the back, in gold lettering, was added two lines as shown, indicating 1959, which may be when "The Loomcrafters Rd" obtained it.

He was canonized alongside Pope John Paul II on 27 April 2014.  John XXIII today is affectionately known as the Good Pope (Italian: il Papa buono.)
