Charming decorative plate is part of a series produced by Royal Doulton featuring the wonderful artwork of Jill Barklem the creator of the Brambly Hedge book series featuring a community of mice, in the manner of Beatrix Potter. This plate is dated 1982. Plate illustrates the mouse, Primrose as she discovers a mysterious tunnel.

Plate has an embossed scrollwork border and a rich full color illustration in the center.

Clearly marked on the back "© Royal Doulton AUTUMN A series of Four Seasons plates from the Brambly Hedge Gift Collection".

Plate is 8 1/4" in diameter.
