The Tragedies of Shakespeare in Two Volumes, Modern Lib. Mid-Century; Good to VG

A complete Modern Library 2-volume hardcover set, presenting all 13 of Shakespeare's tragedies. These are two of six volumes of Shakespeare's complete works, as published by the Modern Library. Complete and unabridged, with glossary for both volumes at rear of volume two. ---One book is brown cloth and the other is bright red. Leading me to believe that one was published later than the other and the owner paired them up. 

Vol 1 is price clipped and doesn't have the titles on the inside of the dust jacket, where as Vol 2 has its price and list of volumes. Volume 2 has a right spine lean but Vol 1 is tight secure and square. Both sets of dust jackets have shelf wear, chipping, soiling, fading, and scuffing. The cloth boards remain bright as do the pages.
