Written on top of lid is "One Pound Net Sun Brand Fancy Boneless Salt Codfish Prepared with 4/10 of 1% Boracic Acid Directions for Removal on End Panel Snow Fisheries Co. Inc. Boston, Mass." One short end wall has preparation directions. Great box corner joinery.
It measures approximately 6 inches length by 4 1/8 inches width by 2 inches height.
Great aged patina with usage & wear marks throughout. The wood of the lid has dried over time causing it to fit very loosely. Please see all pictures for more details.
