Despite the little flaw this is a very lovely Ring. The beautiful pale aqua blue Venetian glass cameo is framed by an ornate 18k gold vermeil twist rope edged bezel which is held off the fingerline slightly by an open frame coming from the shoulder of the Ring. Elegant and romantic design.
Rich mythology surrounds Ariadne who is abandoned by Theseus after she helps him escape the Minotaur's labyrinth only to be found by Bacchus and subsequently becomes his wife.
