A beautiful ceramic jar with lid, made in the 1960s by Swiss ceramics factory Ziegler Schaffhausen. The jar is decorated with a grey glaze and a repeating pattern of white lines, on either side of the jar is a etched drawing of a man blowing smoke rings into the air. Of course this jar can be used for many other purposes such as a coin jar or catchall.

The underside with the Ziegler mark. We have the matching vase and fruit bowl in the same pattern.

Please note that I use strong lighting to help highlight the maximum amount of detail of each piece. As each piece is bathed in such strong lighting conditions, the on-screen effect will possibly make the item appear lighter in colour and tone. Your piece may look slightly darker in more natural lighting conditions.
