Description:
HID (High Intensity Discharge) refers to a lighting technology that relies on an electrical charge to ignite xenon gas contained in a sealed lamp. A normal halogen lamp
uses a filament that can burn out in less than 200 hours. HID lamps are gas-filled capsules designed to last almost 4,500 hours. HID lamps also shine much brighter thanks to this technology.
Unlike halogen lamps, HIDs emit a type of light that is very similar to natural daylight and is therefore easier on the human eye. In fact, HID lamps are currently used in most sports arenas, stadiums and train stations around the world. Don't be fooled by low-end xenon replica bulbs sold in most retail shops. They are no match for the intensity, purity and efficiency of high intensity discharge headlamps.

HID Advantages:
Saves energy: HID Xenon lamps consume only 55W of electricity, making them three times more efficient than conventional halogen lamps.
Longer life: The HID kit lasts over 4,500 hours, over 8 times longer than OEM halogen lamps.
Safety: HID Xenon lamps have an increased brightness of 300% (over conventional halogen lamps), adding an extra safety margin.
Appearance: The HID kit produces a pleasant light that closely resembles the natural light emitted by the sun. It makes everything easier to see at night.

Install Caution:

1.As a safety precaution, make sure that the car has had time to cool down properly before starting the installation process.

2.Put the vehicle into park or make sure it is securely in gear.

3.Make sure to have the ignition turned off and the keys removed.

4.Be careful to avoid burns, especially when turning on or off the vehicles lighting.

5.Be careful to avoid crushing or cutting the bulbs. Also make sure to not touch the bulbs with your fingers, as this will cause blotting.

6.Fully examine the connection of the contact points, ports and the wires as faulty connections can cause lighting problems.

7.Make certain that the end of the bulb does not come in contact with the interior light shield of the headlight when adjusting the bulb.

HID xenon lamp knowledge introduction:

Xenon lamp (High intensity Discharge) is a high-pressure gas discharge lamp filled with a mixture of inert gases including xenon gas inside, without the filament that halogen lamp (halogen lamp) has, referred to as HID xenon lamp, can be called metal halide lamp or xenon lamp, divided into xenon lamp for automotive use and xenon lamp for outdoor lighting.

Xenon lamps, also called HID gas discharge headlamps in the field of automotive lamps. It is a high-pressure xenon gas wrapped in a quartz tube that replaces the traditional tungsten filament to provide higher-colour temperature, more aggregated lighting. As the xenon lamp uses a high voltage current to activate the xenon gas an arc of light is formed which can be discharged continuously between two electrodes to emit light. While the power of a normal automotive tungsten bulb reaches 55 watts, a xenon lamp requires only 35 watts, a reduction of almost 1½ percent. Xenon lamps can significantly reduce the burden on a vehicle's electrical system.

They were first used in air transport. There are two categories of xenon lamps that are widely used in the market, one for automotive lighting and one for motorbike lighting

HID xenon lamp luminous principle:

The luminous principle of the xenon lamp is to fill a UV-cut crystal quartz tube with a variety of chemical gases, most of which are xenon and iodide, and then to instantly boost the 12-volt DC voltage in the car to 23,000 volts through a booster (Ballast), which excites the xenon electrons in the quartz tube through high voltage amplitude, producing a light source between the two electrodes. This is known as a gas discharge. The white super arc light produced by the xenon gas can increase the colour temperature value of the light, similar to the sun's rays in daylight. HID requires only 3.5A of electric current to work, and is three times brighter than traditional halogen bulbs, with a service life 10 times longer than traditional halogen bulbs.

HID is currently divided by lamp head model into:

H series: H1, H3, H6, H7, H8, H9, H10, H11, H4 H13, etc;

90 series: 9004 (HB1), 9005 (HB3), 9006 (HB4), 9007 (HB5), 9012 (HIR2), 5202, etc;

D series: D1 (S\C\R), D2 (S\C\R), D3 (S\C\R), D4 (S\C\R), etc.; (Such models are generally original cars already with xenon lamps installed in the original lens [mostly for near light], usually sold as bulbs, sets are very few, need to have adapters.)

Other: 880, 881 (this model is mostly used for fog lamps)

In the car headlights headlights are more used in H1, H4, H7, H11 9005, 9006 and other models.

H4, H13, 9004, 9007 these four models for the near and far light integrated models.

HID bulbs normally require a ballast to be used, if you have a ballast you can buy the bulbs directly, if you don't have a ballast you can buy a ballast or buy a kit directly.

The ballasts are available in 12V 35W; 12V 55W; 24V 35W; 24V 55W, so you can choose to install them according to your own car's actual needs.
