If you have broken the Brass Jet on either your older 30 Jet
(4 Cyl) or 40 HP Mercury Mariner carburetor, I believe that I have just what
you are looking for.
Originally my upper jet broke (This auction is for the LOWER
JET), and I could not locate an OEM replacement, so I found a way to have them
made.
I just simply could NOT throw away the whole and good motor
for such a 'simple' part...
Some have asked for the LOWER JET as well, and I've finally
been able to have it made as well.
This original part is No Longer Available from the
manufacturer, but I have a small number of them that are newly manufactured (by
reverse engineering) locally, tested on an actual 40 HP Mercury Mariner
Outboard Motor in the water, and it works just like the original.
The price for ONE STAINLESS STEEL LOWER JET FITTING is $80.
Note: This does not
include any other associated hardware or seals.
The 40 HP & 40HP '30 Jet' (4 Cyl) Mercury part # is:
1395-823622 (LOWER-WMA-9/10/13) - The threaded end is 5/16-24 NF. The standard bore is .050".
The link below shows the parts break-down (item 11, listed
as 'Jet Assembly'), to ensure you are getting the part you actually need.
Unfortunately, Mercury has updated their parts
catalogwebsite, so I can no longer provide a direct link to the Mercury Mariner
“30Jet” or Mariner “40” parts catalog.
Here is the home link, and the steps to click for you
toverify your part number:

If ebay removes the link in this message as well, simply
google "Mercury Marine Parts Catalog" and one of the first links
should be the same parts catalog...

requested non-standard bore you indicate for the standard bore at no additional
