Remus Lupin taught Defense Against the Dark Arts at Hogwarts and
is one of the few who can perform controlled wandless magic. While teaching
there, Lupin successfully hid his lycanthropy (turning into a werewolf) from
the school at large. He was widely regarded as by far the best Dark Arts
