This bike is the best bike available for young kids. Unlike most other kids bikes of this size it has an Aluminium frame and wheel rims that make it a lightweight bike and so much easier for a young child to ride. Its less effort for them to pedal and less to try and keep upright, particularly when they are getting on and off.

This bike is in excellent condition. It has always been kept indoors and all of the bearings are in excellent condition. There is some wear and tear on the pedals. It currently retails for £180 in Halfords.

• The brakes are excellent (V-brakes as found on expensive mountain bikes) and really well matched to the high quality machined rim surfaces

• The saddle and hand grips are very comfy

• The chain is protected inside a plastic guard which avoids oil getting on things and reduces risk of injury

• Really easy to adjust quick release saddle height (this also means the saddle and seatpost can be easily removed and refitted if you need to do so to put in the back of the car
