The Targu Mures Paprika is from Transylvania, Romania. The pods ripen to a brilliant red and has a very nice sweet flavor. The heat of this pepper is very nice for a Paprika, I estimate the heat level at around 30,000 on the Scoville scale. I know the heat level of the Targu Mures is no where near what you would call insanely hot, but for a paprika it’s very hot! The Targu Mures Paprika is a great flavorful pepper powder, that if you like regular paprika and wanted hot paprika this is for you!
