Combination ion-selective electrode (ISE)
Ion selective and gas sensitive electrodes allow quick and easy determination of concentration and activity of a variety of dissolved ions and gases. Ion concentration measurement is vital in a wide range of applications, some common examples are calcium content of milk, chloride in food and fluoride in toothpaste.
Modular and versatile!
METTLER TOLEDO ion-selective half-cells consist of two elements: a universal shaft and an ion-specific membrane module. This module may be exchanged allowing you to measure the ion of your choice. Just order the membrane kit specific for that ion, mount the new module onto the shaft of your ISE half-cell, and you have a new ISE! What is more, the membrane kit also comes with an identification ring (ID ring) and an adapter sleeve which will fit any METTLER TOLEDO titration stand. This way you can just as easily use your ISE with a titrator as with an ion-meter. Every time you change the membrane module you simply change your ID ring.
