The book has minor shelf wear to the spine ends and light spotting to the edges of the block. The boards are rather clean and straight, the binding is square and feels unread, and internally there is no writing or other markings. The dust jacket has some minor shelf wear but presents as nearly new. This example is signed, dated, and warmly inscribed by Sparks on the half title page. A rather well kept example of the author’s second book. Basis for the beloved 1999 film adaptation of the same title which starred Kevin Costner, Paul Newman, and Robin Wright. Surprisingly hard to find signed.
