This listing includes the 2 figures of Mary and Joseph, both 4 1/2  inches tall, made of plastic material, and hand-painted. These are stamped Depose Italy.  The plastic baby Jesus and cardboard manger are unmarkedand I do not know where or by whom they were produced.  Depose is also Fontanini, an Itallian company that began making nativity figures in 1908 and continues to this day making beautifully painted plastic nativity figurines, as well as numerous figurines of other people living in Bethlehem at the time of the birth Jesus.

These look to be a plastic or resin.

There is loss of paint, especially on the grass, the halos and the back of Mary's robe.  Possibly some loss of paint in the babies hair. Please see the pictures.

These vintage Nativity pieces were used over many years, so some wear and tear on pieces is common.
