A spectacular night flowering cactus with bright, ornamental YELLOW skin & very sweet WHITE fleshed fruits containing numerous small black seeds.

Fruits are much smaller than the RED but more prized also for their rich, passion fruit-like sweetness.. Self pollination is normal, but if there is a problem and your not getting much fruit set, try hand pollination with a feather or soft brush. Under ide14thal conditions they are prolific bearers. Remember to fertilize periodically for best results. Fruits most of the year ( up to 5- 6 flushes per year!) depending on climate, fertility of soil and growing conditions.

 Easy to grow, and tolerates cold temps to -2 deg C . Also drought resistant. Periodic applications of a good organic fertilizer or compost will certainly benefit your plants & produce greater amounts of juicy fruits. 

Can be used to make a vibrant coloured ice cream, sweet chilli sauces & jams, and can be made into wine. The pulp freezes well too. HEALTH BENEFITS * High in anti-oxidants * High in Vitamin C and fibre
