This is a brand new, unused 4T Toddler sized Bishop Dress or Frock with Matching Bonnet.

The toddler dress is made of soft 100$ cotton fabric in  stripes of rust and tan.  It has long, open sleeves and a long skirt to protect the baby from the sun. The neck closes with a clear plastic button, which  has the look of clear glass but is totally washable and can be run through the dryer. The open neckline makes it easier dress a squirmy baby.  The skirt and matching bonnet are decorated with 1/2" wide  rust cotton trim with the look of hand crocheted lace.

It is 26 1/4" long from neck edge to bottom. The bottom edge is 39" around.  Growth tucks can be added to the bottom to allow for use on a smaller baby and then the tucks can be let out as the baby grows, allowing for use through several seasons. The turned hem is  3" wide.

The bonnet is made of matching fabric and trimmed with the same crocheted style trim. The cream colored double faced satin ribbon ties are formed into triple decorative loops at the sides of the bonnet. It measures 12" from side to side and is 7" deep.

"The style is almost timeless, first appearing in the late 17th Century and even today continues to be used.  At certain times this style was also called an "angel smock".  The loose flowing body and raglan style sleeves allow for freedom of movement and the growth of the child."
