Vintage 1960s Pelikan MK10 Airplane Safe Green Fine Nib Piston Filling Fountain Pen
Barrel: Green-black barrel and black cap Engravings: Pelikan Germany on the ring , Pelikan emblem on the top of cap. Piston filling system: in EXCELLENT WORKING CONDITION ! Nib: F-fine , gold plated Length (in closed position): 133 mm Condition: The fountain pen has several cracks on the cap, the longest of which is 23 mm. On the body of the fountain pen, on the left side below the nib, there is a crack about 5 mm long, as well as the next one above the nib, about 8 mm long. I don't think ink goes through any of them. The fountain pen also has a scar from a hot object, which absolutely does not affect its function. Everything else is in order and the fountain pen is ready to write.
One of the most famous Pelikan pens, the MK10. This was one of the first pens to be leak proof in variable pressure environments, such as high altitude and airplanes. The front section has quite elaborate feeding system, thus prevents ink leaks of any sort. These are one of the most reliable and elegant Pelikan pens ever made. Extremely well build, meant to last and endure hard work for decades. The pen has a stunning vintage appeal with green and black color combination.
