Martini Da Vinci Brass Liner 4.1 Oz. Rotary Tattoo Machine. Super Rare, and highly collectible.

This machine only weighs 115 grams, it’s very quiet, smooth as butter, and was beautifully hand crafted in Italy by Jim Martini himself. Not many of these were made before they switched over to making the far more common Da Vinci II. Of all the different Martini Tattoo Machines, I think the name of this one is the most fitting for what it is. It is truly an Italian work of art.

I bought this and another Da Vinci directly from Jim Martini’s stateside distributor Andy in 2012. Andy just so happens to live in Albuquerque as well, and so we met up at a coffee shop, and I paid him $500 for each machine.

I only used this machine only one time on one small tattoo. Seriously. It probably has a couple of hours of actual run time on it, if that. I was getting into tattooing, and only wanted the best equipment, so I bought these machines and a Critical Power Supply. Unfortunately, I got way too busy with college and work at the time, and I gave up on the tattoo game. So this machine has been sitting in my closet ever since.

I pulled both of the Da Vinci’s out to sell them like 6 months ago, and then they got stolen out of my car. The dummy that stole them tried to sell them on Facebook marketplace, and I was able to recover them. Unfortunately the Albuquerque Police Department is not very interested in property crimes, and they basically offered no assistance. So I had to buy back my own equipment. Im just glad that I got them back though.

These machines almost never pop up for sale. Especially the first gen brass Da Vinci’s. Get yourself an early Christmas present that’ll be good for many years and a whole lot of tattoos to come.
