This rare vintage puzzle from Otto Maier (Which would later become known simply as Ravensburger), made in West Germany, features a classic image of a French ship of the line. With 1000 pieces, this puzzle would provide a fun challenge for puzzle enthusiasts of all skill levels. Alternately, it could be kept sealed as a displayed collectible.  There is a copyright date on the image of 1968.  I have seen a similar puzzle with a slightly different box design attributed to 1973, which is supposedly a later iteration.  If so, this one could be the original, somewhat earlier version.
