My partner has nicknamed our basement Tels toy box as it is stuffed to the ceiling with scores of storage boxes full of Model kits and toys obtained over six decades by my Dad my brother and myself .

I have barely made a dent in the storage boxes and every new box opened is an adventure as we never listed contents of any of the boxes we just packed and stacked them I am amazed myself at the range of makes and types of models we accumulated over the last sixty plus years this being down to the fact this is  really three peoples collections that have been merged together and each of us had differing tastes in kits and subject matter.

But my Dad had another real passion his 1950/60's home bar he did his national service in the Royal navy so it not by coincidence was shaped like a Ship and he being who he was collected "items " to embellish and add to his bar he also built shelves and worktop space added lights and professional small fridges it ended up quite a bar and was his pride and joy at Christmas and family celebrations .

I am now finding a few pieces of his Breweriana and it's time for them to find new settings he had his gadgets and some standard promotional items also back in the early days he had a small amount ashtrays and other tobacco related items he nor mum never really smoked but my Grandad did it was a habit he picked up when he joined the Para's in WWII  so even though my brother and I have never smoked I get why granddad did and these tins I think originate from him .

We have a fair few vintage tins mainly used to pack other items in while in storage and these three had buttons and postcards

A Rothmans Rhodesian Cigarettes Tin which I suspect is from the 1920/30 Art Deco era and I have learnt that it seems Rothman's had a direct to smoker service 5.75" wide 3" deep x 2.2" tall

A Tam O Shanter Tobacco Tin 6.5" wide x 4.75" deep x 1.2" tall I have a feeling this is from the 1940's

And finally a tin I actually recognise A B&H Hamlet Cigars Tin that held 10 short Panetellas I was not sure if to add it in but I thought why not as I am used to these type of tin being "flip" top this opens like a book and still has the card and gold colour foil inner inside ..

All three tins are good structural condition but show signs of handling and storage please see and photos nice set for the collectors

Postage I only ask what it costs to pack safely and send tracked service for safe keeping
