I did not know that Laura Lee Hope is like Carolyn Keene of Nancy Drew Books (from Good Reads): Laura Lee Hope was a pseudonym used by the Stratemeyer Syndicate. The Stratemeyer Syndicate was the producer of a number of series for children and adults at the beginning of the twentieth-century, including the Nancy Drew mysteries, The Hardy Boys, the various Tom Swift series, The Bobbsey Twins and others. It pioneered the technique of producing long-running, consistent series of books using a team of freelance authors to write standardised novels, which were published under a pen name owned by his company. Actual writers taking up the pen of Laura Lee Hope include Howard and Lilian Garis, Elizabeth Ward, Edward Stratemeyer, Harriet (Stratemeyer) Adams, and Nancy Axelrad. Series written under this pseudonym include: The Bobbsey Twins, The Outdoor Girls, The Moving Picture Girls, Bunny Brown, Six Little Bunkers, Make Believe Stories and Blythe Girls.

This book is in fair to poor condition. No loose pages. Looks like it had moisture damage but does NOT smell musty. This is a first edition. The binding is loosening and wobbly but very readable. You can see there is some splitting of the signatures or book pages. See photos.

EBays Managed Payments has started and offers buyers more options for payment, including Paypal and credit cards.

International Buyer pays all duties, tariffis, insurance and charges.

All forms of payment are expected as soon as possible and within seven days. After seven days, without communication from you, I will report it as an unpaid item and relist. If you need longer or are bidding on other items please contact me. I am easy to work with as long as I am able to communicate with you.

On July 9, 2023 USPS launched Ground Advantage Shipping. First Class mail is now part of the new Ground Advantage and has a longer/slower delivery time. Still a great option for smaller items that are under one pound but be aware that it has a longer delivery time (2 to 8 Business Days). Prior to this First Class was treated as Priority Mail going via Air. Be sure to consider the shipping options when placing an order. Rates are staying the same. Ground Advantage still includes free insurance up to $100.

Media Mail rates are also increasing by seven percent (7%).

I don't charge a handling fee and I am a great packer! I use fiberfill for padding breakables, tissue, bubble wrap and lots of tape so the box doesn't split open if dropped. Tape can also add a lot of strength to the shipping box. I believe that every box gets dropped at least once on it's journey and my packing reflects that. And if your item needs more I can add foam and have even used new bed pillows for those bigger, delicate items. Your items are packed to survive!

It is possible to combine shipping on most items. Fragility, size, shape and weight will be the determining factors for combined shipping. Please contact ahead to see if it is possible.

Hooray to Ebay for finally making the seller responsible for getting items to the buyer! Something I have always believed - once the item is paid for it belongs to the buyer and it is my job to get it to you safely and without worry.

Most of my items will ship without insurance BUT will have tracking (US only). And remember anything that ships USPS priority is automatically insured up to $100 through the post office. I am a great packer (over 20 years experience packing items) and I have always packed to survive. I have never let my buyers down. I will add insurance, at my expense on items that I feel require it.
