This daguerreotype features a pair of young sisters proudly displaying their gold wedding rings. They also wore gold brooches and their freckled faces were faintly tinted. They are identified inside the case as Sarah and Emma Hall. "Ingraham" is written twice on the original seals. There was a daguerreotypists named William L. Ingraham operating in Portland, Maine in 1852-53.

The 1/6 plate has its original seals and the case measures about 3.25 x 3.75 inches. Most of the dust specks are on the glass and not the plate itself.
