EMERSON Nº3 YEAR 1907

Fantastic Emerson Nº3 typewriter, manufactured in approximately 1907, by Emerson Typewriter Company, Kittery, United States.

The Emerson is undoubtedly a spectacular machine, the most curious thing is the shape and arrangement of the type bars, which make it unique. The bars are arranged on both sides of the central axis and in front of the carriage, in a staggered position. It is similar to Oliver or Sholes Visible.

It is made of black enameled cast iron. It has a keyboard with three rows of keys. On the paper holder we can see the Emerson brand in gold letters. It has a nice drawing between the type bars that are covered by a black metal piece. But both the drawing on the paper holder, the central seal and the frame bar are not original and have been repainted.

It is a very rare machine to find, a collector's item, in very good condition and working correctly.
