Rare and beautifully restored Vinaccia Bowlback Mandolin. Crafted in Naples Italy in 1896, by the legendary Vinaccia family. This is a premium instrument.

Fully restored in 2022 and barely played since, which is a shame as it is exquisite.

17 frets. Tortoiseshell scratch plate (usual for the time) and mother of Pearl inlay and fret markers.

I have included three label pictures. The first two from the instrument, unfortunately I could not get a good picture from my phone. The third is from the internet. The label is exactly the same as this, except for the date. This instrument is 1896 not 1898. From the era of Vinaccia, Achille (1836-1920).
