Philodendron 'Weeks red hybrid' is a very unique and rare philodendron in most tropical garden lovers and aroid addicts "must have" wish list.   Look no further, He is a very well established one that had just unfurled a new leaf that is still hardening with a few nodes, and aerial roots.

Ron Weeks, an incredible grower, a Miami native and one of the nicest people you'd ever meet, is whom this philodendron is named after.  The new leaves are born with bronzy coppery golden orange color with rich burgundy purplish  mottling on the undersides.  As the hastate shape leaves age they also grow in size and change color from the strawberry pinkish/red to a yellow/lemon-lime color with green mottling.  Then they become a more deep solid emerald green with a random shades of green spots with rusty red spots on the petioles The 'weeks red hybrid' philodendron grows to be about 5-6 ft high maybe larger if happy. The largest Leaf measures 15" long by 6.5" wide.  he spans at 31" wide and 2 ft  tall in a gallon  pot.  Be one of the first to own such a beautiful specimen that is not finicky.  Does well in an indoor household conditions. Place in a bright room away from direct sunlight, pot in an aroid mix and water when the top inch or 2 of soil feels dry. Please take a look at the images as it is the exact plant you will receive.
