This is a hand-cut cane, or walking stick, dated 1850-1890.

It belonged to the gamekeeper at Achfary, the Duke of Westminster's estate in Sutherland, Scotland. (I have another walking stick of his, as well as his deerstalker cap, listed here on eBay.)

It is very light in weight, medium brown wood, 34".

The tip is missing and it could use a good polish.

Otherwise fine and usable.
