Vintage Abney level, made of brass or copper? Not sure. No manufacturer readily visible. This can be disassembled but I don't want to risk it, I leave that to the buyer. Optics are weak and foggy, hard to line everything up. The little screw that holds the level at an angle is stripped, so it won't tighten down. The pouch is very worn but intact, the zipper is missing a big chunk on one side. Pocket sized (around 5 1/2 inches). An unusual object, perhaps an interesting restoration project.
