Superb Old Lace by Towle 1939 Sterling Silver Flatware Set consisting of 8 Dinner Forks, 8 Salad Forks, 8 Dinner Knives, 7 (SEVEN) Tablespoons, 8 Teaspoons, 8 Butter Spreaders, the Cold Meat Fork, the Sugar Spoon and a Soup spoon ( I think) condition is very good and have been hand polished the only flaw I can see is a few of the table knives have a few tiny rust spots to the blade. Scale measures seen in pics are in grams. Condition is very good hand polished some pieces do have a few swirl marks but altogether very presentable. Dinner knives and butter spreaders have stainless blades with sterling handles so were weighed separately total weight of all is 75.73 oz the only flaw I can see is a few of the table knives have tiny rust spots to the blade. set of exceptional quality and style.
