SASS EMPORIA are delighted to offer this sculptural bisque white porcelain organic shaped vase produced by Rosenthal of Germany as part of their exclusive Studio Linie Range. This is called the Kuschelvase (cuddly vase) with a form number of 13717 designed by the internationally awarded Czech born designer Uta Feyl in 1983. Her designs with Rosenthal carry a distinct theme featuring shapes inspired by nature and the human form. Like her famous 'Venus' design the form of this vase resembles a bean pod comprising of two curved halves joined together with a slender opening lip. Without a flat bottom, this vessel remains unbalanced like a floating shell, yet can still hold water suitable to display a petite spray of flowers or a single stem. An intriguing design this is best appreciated as an object d'art or an accent piece to enhance any modern porcelain art display!
