Salsa Redpoint Carbon X01

 

The Redpoint's front triangle and seat stays are made of high-modulus carbon fiber. Salsa opts to have the chainstays built from 6066-T6 aluminum, which they say offers better durability.  
The Redpoint's 150 millimeters of travel come courtesy of a RockShox Monarch RT, which is powered by Salsa's take on split-pivot suspension design. At the heart of the split-pivot design is a rear, concentric pivot point designed to keep the rear suspension active and supple.
