This is a cast iron hand hammered dog head pendant light fixture. It is not marked but thought to be a Virden, they made dog head light during this era. It was found in the attic of a house built in 1921 before demo. This fixture has been returned to its original finish which is hand hammered cast iron. There was absolutely no paint on this light when found. After cleaning it was sprayed with a clearcoat. From ceiling to bottom of fixture measures 21 1/2", canopy measures 5 3/4" in diameter, The iron piece with dog heads measures 13" tall by 8" wide, flat link chain is 6" long. This fixture has new high quality bulb socket, new UL Approved era correct cloth covered wire, old time light bulb as seen in photos, correct mounting hardware and a one year warranty.
