Crested Lustre Butter/ Cheese Dish Salus Populi Southport Crest Coat of Arms Vtg.

Please see all photos, there is wear due to age on this dish.

Butter or cheese dish with coat of arms of the north west English town of Southport. This probably dates to after 1923 when the town arms were officially granted, and when the galley ship at the bottom was added instead of a lifeboat. The Latin motto means 'the good of the people'.
