VINTAGE 1960S SPEEDLINE 42 HS LETTERMAN VARSITY JACKET WOOL Plant High German.

This jacket is in pre owned condition. It has many areas of moth holes, areas where moths have eaten away at the top layer of fabric, discoloration, or staining. Some of the stains or discolorations can be difficult to see in the pictures, but I do my best to point out as many as possible.

Please review all of the pictures to see any stains, flaws, or imperfections. I use a hand drawn arrow to point these out. The piece of paper that the arrow is drawn on is 1” wide. Please use this as a size reference for any stains, flaws, or imperfections pictured. Thank you!

All measurements are taken with the item laying on a flat surface:

Armpit to armpit 24”

Neck to waist 25.5”

Sleeve 26”

This came from the estate of Lloyd George Geiger II, better known as George Geiger. He had an extremely successful career as a writer and/or producer for such major television shows as “Simon & Simon”, “Profiler”, “Scarecrow and Mrs. King”, “Hunter”, “The White Shadow”, and “Scout’s Safari”, a popular children’s series for which he received a Daytime Emmy Award nomination. George was born in Flint, Michigan in 1947 and spent his early childhood there and in Rochester, New York. In 1955 his family moved to Tampa, Florida where he attended public school graduating from H.B. Plant High in 1965, followed by four years at the University of South Florida graduating in 1969.

I will be posting several other items from this estate in the coming days and weeks including cast and crew items.
