Polyester fabric, but not thick like double knot. It's thinner, but it's heavier in weight. The fabric alone weighs 2 pounds and five ounces. I clipped a small corner to do a burn test and only determined that it's polyester.
Yardage: This piece is three yards long x 64" wide
Fiber: knit/polyester
Vintage: unmarked, likely 1970's to 1980's; most fabric stores really weren't carrying similar knits by the 1990's.
